On Course for IELTS provides a fresh communicative approach to preparing for the IELTS exam.
Topic based - The most effective way to sustain learner interest and establish contexts for meaningful communication.
Task based - Requiring learners to do things with language, not just on language or about language.
The course consists of 12 units with each unit being based on a topic relevant to the IELTS exam. A typical course will last around 12 weeks with each unit providing around 10-12 hours of class work. Students will practise skills for all four IELTS subtests - reading, writing, speaking and listening - as well as related grammar and vocabulary in every unit.
