How do I go about sourcing permission for images or other copyright material for use in my book?
The copyright owner must be contacted and permission must be obtained to use any artworks, text extracts or other copyright material. Your publishing editor can provide you with more details about seeking permissions.
Can you arrange a book launch?
OUP can assist you with supplying books and marketing material for display at a book launch. For more information about this, please contact highered.au@oup.com
Will my book have a new edition?
This depends on many factors. Your publishing editor or development editor will usually be in touch with you within the first year of publication to discuss this.

What quality assurance processes do you have?
To ensure that all our books are of the highest quality, all new manuscripts are reviewed by at least two peers prior to publication. Peer reviews are confidential and the feedback is provided to the author/s to assist in producing a high-quality manuscript. We also have a very thorough editorial process for all books once the manuscript is received for publication.
How many author copies will I receive?
This is specified in your publishing agreement (contract).
