Reading Intervention

A teacher helping a student

Extra support, post-phonics

At Oxford, we believe every student deserves access to reading material that they can read with confidence and inquire with curiosity.

Reading‑intervention resources aim to close literacy gaps for older or struggling readers by providing structured, systematic support that rebuilds decoding, fluency, comprehension and confidence. These programs use carefully sequenced phonics, high‑interest texts and scaffolded practice to help learners access age‑appropriate content while still receiving the explicit instruction they need.
