Ozwords

Defining Australian English

Ozwords is the Australian National Dictionary Centre's (ANDC) newsletter, keeping readers informed on all aspects of the Centre's activities. It includes feature articles by Centre staff and guest contributors on Australian English, articles on our latest research, publications, and work  in  progress, as well as a lively letters page from our erudite readers, and a competition with prizes that booklovers will enjoy.

Ozwords is published twice a year by Oxford University Press (OUP).

OUP has proudly been defining Australian English for many decades. We are especially proud of our long-standing commitment to the study and nurturance of Australian English, as nowhere is the cultural history of a people more faithfully revealed than in its language.
